Diane Patterson interviews Tara Baggerman at the 2017 AKC World Agility Team Tryouts. Tara is volunteering at the event as an ambassador for the sport, and encourages everybody to get out and volunteer because that is how you learn, grow and bring new skills back home with you. She has an 8 year old Border Collie named Leda, a 4 year old Border Collie named Hilo and a 2 year old Sheltie. Tara was inspired by the fun and addictive atmosphere of the tryouts with their great diversity of handling, awesome sportsmanship and the participation of all kinds of dogs. Tara spent her time scribing for coach Guyes, but volunteers can engage in a variety of ways and they come from far and wide to help out at the competition.
